Meet The Colonials

What to expect from the 2014 Colonials

After a magnificent 2013-2014 season, the Colonials graduated 6 of their starters from their first winning season in over five years. Those graduates include the likes of Antonio Palangio, Josh Celidonia, Donte Lewis, Nick Ekonen, Jacob Rady, and Nathan Buick.

Enter the new leaders in Jon Berger, Travis Hunter, and Eric Zearfoss, all who bring baseball experience to the forefront in leading this team. Berger, a fan favorite since his Sophomore season brings a raw leadership that has not been seen in the Colonials clubhouse in a long time. Berger said "I plan to lead by example, first one in, last one out. We have a lot of young talent that experienced some early success last year that's made everyone hungry for more." He also added "I want to connect on a personal level with the incoming freshman and continue to grow my relationships with the returning members of the team."

The one thing the Colonials have going for them, despite losing six seniors, is that they are returning one of the best rotations in their conference, after only losing Nathan Buick. Returning are Senior Brett Gray, Junior Travis Hunter and Nolan Tome,  and Sophomores Rob Choboy and Eric Zearfoss. The Colonials will no doubt look to the mound for success.
