SRU Sweeps RMU
A tough Saturday was almost salvaged by the Colonials as they fought back from a 7-2 deficit entering the 7th inning, but fell to Slippery Rock 7-6 to ensure a sweep for the opposition. The Non-Conference series will only help the Colonials prepare for the tough road that lies ahead in conference play.
Prugar Gets Extension
After a successful 2013-2014 campaign, Jarrod Prugar has been given an extension through the 2014-2015 season as Manager of the RMU Club Baseball team. Prugar led the
Colonials to their first winning season in over five years (12-11), and will look to improve on that mark in the upcoming season.
Colonials Stepping Back in Time
They say Orange is the new Black. In the sports world, yesteryear is the new today. Rumors relased from the Colonials camp today have indicated the possible switch to a throwback theme for not only their hats, but their uniforms as well this year. Time will tell whether these rumors are in fact, true.
First Annual Banquet a Success
RMU Hosted the first annual RMU Baseball Banquet to a rousing success. Held in the Yorktown Cafe, Seniors were honored, new captains were announced, and goot times were had by all. John Locke, Armand Buzzelli, and John Michalenko were in attendance as well.
Senior Night turns into Scrimmage
After a no-show by conference opponent St. Francis, RMU Senior Night turned into an Intrasquad Scrimmage so that the Seniors could get the recognition they deserved.
